Sydney Nano's Taste of Research Awards ($2500) are awarded to high-calibre undergraduate coursework students to undertake research with leading academics in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology during the winter break (https://www.sydney.edu.au/nano/education/scholarships.html#taste-of-research). These awards are very competitive with only four being awarded across the whole University. The award has allowed Esther to investigate whether modified RNAs have potential as stable RNA decoys for next-generation biotech tools and therapeutics. Many congratulations Esther!
