Ann is on sabbatical at The Metabolomics Innovation Centre (TMIC) headed by David Wishart at the University of Alberta until Jan 21. TMIC is North America’s premier destination for metabolic profiling and the group has been a world leader in developing automatic spectral profiling algorithms for analysing NMR and mass spectrometry data. TMIC has recently introduced its first competition for a stay in its Research Hotel and Ann is very thankful for the opportunity to be able to spend 8 weeks at TMIC learning everything about metabolomics through this program.
